Ryan Kohler was a member of the San Dimas Saints varsity football teams in 2007, 2008, and 2009. During his senior season, Ryan scored 3 touchdowns and rushed for 105 yards against the Bearcats helping the Saints win 21-13. In addition, Ryan helped the Saints win the the 2009 CIF championship on this field with a 13-1 record and the first title in school history. Kohler lead the way with 1,454 yards and 24 touchdowns his senior year, including a 108-yard performance in the championship against Monrovia. Saints Coach Bill Zernickow said of Kohler, “It wasn’t just his numbers, he was an emotional lift for us, the guy competes. Having him healthy in the championship made us complete”. He was also named to the All CIF 1st Team. Ryan was the 2010 athlete of the year for San Dimas High.
