2008 Saints Season Summary

San Dimas pride was looming in the halls weeks before the annual “Smudgepot” game. The adrenaline kicked in at the beginning of the week when the cheerleaders had pies smashed into their faces. Later, our fellow Saints were put to the test as they used a sledgehammer to smash vans painted “Bonita Green.” Teachers gobbled up chocolate pudding, and students got hyped up at the rally. Everyone felt the spirit and we knew the Smudgepot trophy would be ours once again. During the exciting game, the crowd roared and cheered for the Saints helping the team make touchdowns and win. The final score was fifty to thirty-three, with the Saints winning by a landslide! There is no doubt that the energy of the crowd inspired the players, and of course, we knew our boys would not let us down. The Saints did their job winning the Smudgepot once again. There is no stopping us now, for “WE ARE LEGEND.”
